NINE STEP CARPET CLEANING PROCESS
Step 1: Pre Inspection
Every great carpet cleaning starts with a proper pre-inspection. Our two man owner/operators will slip on protective booties and lay down canvas drop sheets to protect hardwood or other flooring surfaces. We will inspect your particular areas of concern as well as noting carpet construction, and soiling conditions. We will also advise you of any possible permanent staining. As part of the pre inspection we will confirm pricing for our services.
Step 2: Furniture Moving
Our two man owner/operator crew will carefully move your sofas, chairs, and tables. Larger pieces such as; entertainment units, china cabinets, computers or electronics and other liability prone items are left in place under our regular pricing structure. Furniture will be returned to their original location and protected with disposable blocks and or plastic tabs as needed
Step 3: Pre-Condition, Pre Spot Treatment & Deodorizing
All areas and spots are pre-treated for more effective soil and spot removal. We also believe that deodorizing is an essential process in professional carpet cleaning. That’s why we included it for FREE!
Step 4: Pre-Groom
Your carpet will be pre-groomed with a carpet groomer (depends on the soil level) to further loosen traffic area soiling.
Step 5: Extract & Rinse
Once the soil has been loosened, our truck-mounted hot water extraction process will thoroughly rinse the carpet pile. Pressure and heat are regulated so the carpet is not over-wet. We will rinse with water temperatures ranging between 120 – 235 degrees depending on the fiber content and soiling condition. This step also improves your air quality by removing the pollens, pollutants, and dust mites, etc. from carpet.
Step 6: Neutralize
Every carpet we clean is rinsed with a PH balance product so there is never a sticky residue left behind. (This is a very important step that is often overlooked by other carpet cleaners)
Step 7: Post Spot Treatment
If any spots are not removed during the cleaning process, specialty spotting techniques are employed after a thorough cleaning.
Note: This excludes permanent stains that are identified in the pre-inspection.
Step 8: Carpet Guard (optional but recommended)
Carpets protected with Carpet Guard last longer, makes clean up easier and stay’s cleaner longer.
Step 9: Post Grooming
The carpet pile is brought standing up using a carpet rake or groomer. This reduces the drying time and has a better visual appeal.
